We had a good time: the park itself is beautiful, the accommodation was comfortable and its location was pretty unique. Unfortunately the park rules only allow 24h entrances, otherwise it would have been nice to stay longer and do more game drives. Gotta come back! 😊

The Travelling Wakili is the best travel agency we could have found for our trip to Kenya. They organised a detailed but flexible travel programme, tailored to our needs and varied, from the beach weekend in Watamu to the four days-Safari trip to Masai Mara. In particular we were travelling with a person in a wheelchair, and they were excellent in organising a trip suited to our difficulties and possibilities, without us having to deprive ourselves of any experience. It is nice to have this kind of support when dealing with disability! They were able to help us in every phase of the trip, at every little inconvenience they gave us constant support. We appreciated their proactivity in proposing us some options that we did not know about, as well as the kindness of the owner Njeri and all the drivers and staff we interfaced with. We are so grateful to the Travelling Wakili for organizing this amazing trip, and we look forward to be back in Kenya as soon as possible. Thank you for your wonderful service!

Lions before breakfast – what more could you ask for?” I booked a Nairobi National Park safari with The Travelling Wakili on a whim between business meetings, and let me tell you — best decision ever. From the moment I was picked up, the organization was outstanding. My guide, Njeri and driver David were not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also full of hilarious stories. We saw lions, hippos , giraffes, rhinos before breakfast — which, was delicious. Giraffes posing like influencers, rhinos minding their business, and lions giving main character energy — all with the Nairobi skyline in the background. Unreal. Perfect escape for solo business folks needing a break, or literally anyone who enjoys awesome experiences. Already planning my next trip — this is not a one-time thing. 10/10, would safari again. It was an awesome experience! Jeremie was such a kind, passionate, and knowledgeable guide. He made sure to answer all or questions and share more about his passion for his community. I love being part of and supporting local community initiatives that give a platform for marginalized people to tell their stories, and this tour does it in a way that is inspiring and appreciative of the art. There are some very talented people in Kibra and I would recommend this tour to anyone in Nairobi looking to experience Kibra through art and personal stories of the community members.
